A little bit about myself
Lucas Piano (Lucas Abrão) is a Brazilian pianist and keyboardist with roots in classical music and progressive rock. His interest in music began at age 9. He holds a Master's Degree in Software Engineering from CESAR School and a Graduate Diploma in Software Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC Minas/Brazil), where he deepened his interest in music technology, synthesizers and electronic music.
Besides performing as a keyboardist at weddings, private dinners and graduation ceremonies, Lucas also works as a music producer, arranger and composer, contributing to short films, commercials and independent artists' projects. He shares video lessons on his YouTube channel and teaches through his Online Conservatory alongside other great musicians, covering everything from Fundamentals & Theory to Melody, Harmony and Improvisation.
Bridging his music and software engineering backgrounds, Lucas is the founder of Artificial Music, an AI research initiative focused on generative sound systems — exploring how AI can enhance emotional regulation, cognitive resilience and expressive autonomy through music.
